Bills Sign 6th round pick Batten to multi-year deal

The Bills announced that they have signed Danny Batten to a multi-year deal today.

Batten was a star linebacker at South Dakota State, starting 45 of 46 games at South Dakota State, recording 274 tackles (115 solo), and 23 sacks.

The 6-foot-3, 254-pound Batten was named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference first-team selection and was co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2009. Batten is the second draft pick to sign with the Bills, following offensive lineman Ed Wang.
